Every year, HGTV.com gives away a free custom built house to a lucky contestant. This is widely known as the main HGTV sweepstakes that they run every year. They also have a smaller fall sweepstakes, but this is the main one that every one waits for.
The 2008 HGTV dream home is loacted in Islamarada, Florida and you have an opportunity to enter the contest every single day until February 19th, 2008. Theywill announce the winner on the HGTV tv show in March 2008.

This home will be the home for my family get togethers and visits and for others in a climate that is healthy for all of them. It will also be my return to living in California, my favorite state. I’m looking forward to the move and will use the home for the glory of God, possibly as a home for young pregnant single girls in order to give them a second chance, with an emphasis on lifestyle change and a prolife agenda.

It would be such a beautiful dream to finally ,have a home big enough togather all of my children and, grandchildren. To have a big kitchen to cook in and , a dining room. where I could finally have and ,enjoy all my family at the table at the same time. Instead of having them eat in the living room. My dream for 30 years has been to have a big enough home. So I could have all of my children and, grandchildren and, family over to eat in a large kitchen and dining room. Mostly for the holidays. We live in a very small house that is just to small to have gatherings with our family that is growing and, there is just not enough room to move around. It would also be a blessing to be able to live in california.
